OldScool here.  Time for another lame movie review to help support the commune. 

The venue was Kung-Fu Panda.  Just to be fair, I took little kids with me to gauge their reaction, it was predictable.  Other than the $8 popcorn and high fructose corn syrup soda that violated my body I came away from UnHolyWoods latest blockbuster feeling nothing but $24 bucks poorer.  Jack Black is the main voice over character of the overweight, well-intentioned Panda hero.  He gives great voice.  Wow! what a talent!  The flick is a rerun of the same old Kung-Fu saga of action, action, action...yeah, I kicked your ass but this isn't violent, it's noble because it's Kung_Fu.  Poohy! Give me TMNT!

So, if you've got kids sitting home bored to tears take them to this movie.  It will get them out of the house and make them think you are an easy mark. They will have more of the same mind-numbing crap they see on Nick everyday to put into their little developing psyche's.
